A brief outline of what to expect from design through installation.

Consultation/Initial Meeting

  • Discuss scope and time-frame of project:
    New construction: Review architectural plans and blueprints.
    Remodels: Analyze existing space and in-home measure.

  • Discuss client goals.

Design Stage

  • Preliminary design ideas generated to provide a starting point for design meetings and discussions. Floorplans, elevations & perspectives developed utilizing specialized cabinet design computer software.

  • Design meeting(s): Various design options reviewed, discussion of the pros and cons of different layouts. Solicit feedback and arrive at a finalized plan.

  • Finalized plan used as a basis for developing a budget estimate for cabinetry and countertops.

  • Copies of working plans will be released following receipt of design retainer.

Product Selection

Showroom visits to view and select various materials and products and provide education re: cabinetry specifications and construction details. In addition to cabinetry, an array of countertop and hardware samples are available.

Final Field Measure

On-site field measure (or re-measure) conducted prior to cabinet order.

Order/Fabrication:

A schedule will be devised for each project. Semi-custom cabinets typically have a 4-6 week lead time from order confirmation. Custom cabinetry has longer lead times which vary depending on the scope of the project and shop schedules.

Delivery & Installation

Sylco has an in-house installation team who is trained and experienced in working with all of our product lines. Our staff installs all of our custom cabinets to ensure quality of the finished product. We will provide installation notes and assistance to those who wish to have their builder install semi-custom and stock cabinets.

Countertop Templating & Installation

Coordination by Sylco available as requested. Typical lead time from template to install is 2-3 weeks.

Final Details

Sylco will coordinate and teamwork with contractors and subcontractors throughout the process to ensure smooth and on-schedule completion of project.
